As a Licensed Professional Counselor it is my honor to journey with others through some of the difficult seasons of life. 

I have a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and worked for years in different clinics, before venturing out and starting my own practice in 2021. I named it Healing Insight, because I deeply believe that holding compassionate understanding for ourselves and owning our stories with courageous honesty is how we come to love ourselves and heal. 

In addition to being psychodynamically trained, I use a combination of therapies including EMDR and IFS (Internal Family Systems). I often tell clients that if they could think their way out of what's bothering them, they would have done that already, and that sometimes we need a different approach to help with those place where our logic and our nervous systems are on different pages. 

I see a lot of clients when they are at a crossroad, the past is impacting the present, or they need to understand themselves or their relationships more deeply. 

I specialize in working with childhood and religious trauma, religious deconstruction, LGBTQIA2s+ clients, racial identity, Children of emotionally immature clients, grief and mourning, existential crisis, career direction. for more info click on the services page. 

In my free time, I love spending time with my partner and kiddo, coffee dates or hikes with friends, and pretty much always have a podcast or book I am deep diving into.
